Summary: Present for my son as he is a salesman.. slips into his pocket so is always handy when he is on the move around the streets. Life saver for him as he doesn't know north from south. He thinks it's great... enough said...
Excerpt: The TomTom Start2 is a capable sat-nav and GPS for a reasonable price. However, the new features, whilst welcome, are not very extensive, and the current street price is not much less than the launch price, making this still not quite the budget bargain intended.
Summary: I owned a TomTom One previously and thought it was brilliant so when it sadly stopped working, I thought I'd replace it with another TomTom. I didn't want a fancy one, just a basic one to get me from A to B. Well I shouldn't have bought this one, it's rubbish and very cheaply made.
Excerpt: This sat nav was bought for my birthday as it was at a fairly low price in a shop's sale. It comes in a small and compact box which is easy to open. Inside there are several manuals and a how to work it guide.
Summary: Others have had the same problems as me. At times when your driving the map arrow start reading the map upside down or goes from the side. A solution is to turn the satnav upside down but the the other arrow is the wrong way.
Summary: Very annoying, street name pronounciation is bizzar and unintelligible most of the time. frequently too late to tell you to make a turn. Not bad on major routes and M ways, but quite hopeless in housing estates, towns, especially London, utter chaos.
