Excerpt: Excellent screen size and navigation. Good product as expected from Tom Tom, bit disappointed that I can't adjust the volume and you don't get the feature to change the cursor from the arrow, both of which I had with an old Tom Tom one
Excerpt: Never sat nav before. Collected from another town (reserved), sat in car took it of box . Plugged into cig lighter port. Left car park just a few minutes later and let it guide me home. Fingers crossed when I take it to Italy next week.

Summary: I ordered this for my Garmin Nuvi 55, which fits perfectly and I even managed to store not only the associated cables that came with the Sat Nav, but I also managed to fit in a soft case as well for when taking it out with me in my pocket. I obviously am as yet unable to comment on it's durability, but it seems reasonable quality and good value for the money. It arrived in very good time, and the customer service was good. On this basis would recommend to anyone.
Summary: Does everything it says on the tin. Wish I'd bought it years ago. Particularly like the "Where am I" feature which will be great in the event of a breakdown. Enable you to give exact co-ordinates and description to rescue services. update: Sorry to report that today 24/9/14, some 2 months after purchase the item would only obtain a GPS signal intermittently and then only retain the signal for seconds.

Summary: It's great. The only things keeping it off a 5 star are its keenness for small rural roads, and the silly proprietary yet standard cable. Why use micro USB and then put a weird dogleg plug on it. Would it've killed you to mould it to let a straight regular plug fit?
