Excerpt: This sat nav works well once it is set up. Setting it up was a nightmare. I couldn't get the sat nav to "talk" to my computer which is a newish hi spec computer. After a great deal of time fiddling with the settings (sat nav and computer) including talking to my broadband provider's technical team,...
Summary: It was a terrible chore sticking this somewhere to be viewed as you drive. When tied up with the computer for regular charging there was no end of updating needed, some of it quite ridiculous as, for example, changes iin minor road regulations in France.
TomTom remove third party/custom POI support from new MyDrive software
MR F., Amazon
27 December 2014
Summary: For anyone wishing to purchase a TomTom Start 60 as I have just done, please be aware that TomTom have removed the ability to add third party/custom POI's which also includes the brilliant Pocket GPS World speed camera database.
Summary: This item feels like it was designed for the 5" model but the 6" model i have just fits..It does give good protection though and hopefully my second satnav won't get itis screen crushed the next time a service enginear rams the driver seat back to accomodate his long legs.
Summary: Nice large screen but difficult to input data with the unresponsive resistive touch screen. My Pioneer SATNAV system also has a resistive touch screen and it's far more responsive than the 'Start 60'.
Summary: Good solid product only problem is our new sat nav has got the sucker attached to the back of sat nav so it makes it a little tight to get everything in this case with cables as we'll, husband seemed pleased with it. Delivery very quick and price very good
Summary: Bought as a case for Tom Tom Start 60 but it's a very tight fit. You have to throw away the internal tray and disconnect the USB lead. Probably OK for 5" Sat Nav. Otherwise a fairly sturdy case.
