Summary: Does not have maps update feature..Not very user friendly instructions..Also does not fit well on the windscreen, falls down again and again especially while travelling its irritating and distracting..
Summary: Every works fine and good except the suction lock down it will not hold on the plastic of the cars dashboard , wont even hold on the counter top clean smooth wood and just works on clean smooth glass.
Summary: Bought this as a birthday present for my husband in March. It's certainly useful when it works. However, there are some major niggles with it. 1. PLEASE - EVERYONE WHO'S PURCHASED THIS - BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A VERY, VERY DANGEROUS LITTLE GLITCH IN IT.
Summary: The device itself does "exactly what it says on the tin" and I am very satisfied and pleased with the results. However, there is no meaningful instruction book included in the package, although an adequate manual is available for free download from TomTom and there are other problems as noted below.
Summary: TomTom Start 20 Europe THE GOOD: - thin and light - clear instructions, really helpful spoken street names and motorway exit junctions - picked satellite signal quick enough, sometimes it picks it up even from my room when is connected to the computer - it has the ability to take memory cards...
Summary: So far I've been impressed on the whole by the product - the lane selection indications are clear and very helpful, and the general usability of the system is well thought out; pretty much anybody could pick one up and find their way from A to B with limited stress.
New to GPS but thought it might be easier than this!
