Summary: I purchased one of these on thursday from your Exeter digby branch, it was on offer at half price because I bought a TomTom, It just would not stick to my dash, after a few attempts the adhesive completely dried up, a pointless exercise.
Summary: I find it outrageous that TomTom doesn't offer/sell accessory parts for the Rider 2 -- especially the bike dock which is required in order to run the unit off the motorcycle's battery. It's very difficult to find one of these dock units. Mine failed shortly after installing it on my bike. I've spent hours on the phone with TomTom to no avail. All they could do is refer me to RAM Mounts.
Summary: I have a tomtom rider 2 now for 18 months. in that time i am now on the 3rd tomtom, 3rd bike docking station and 2nd power cable. after 2 bike runs i had to send the whole unit back because it wasnt charging. the last time it was used in the rain and got water logged and stopped working or charging. contacted tomtom to be told i was riding in the wrong kind of rain - seriously? i was told i should have stopped on the motorway til the rain subsided this was insane.
