Summary: Doesn't work in the sunlight! I went on a ride and could see before I left the garage and again when I got back to the garage. I would send it back if I could. It's ugly on the handlebars and the writing on the screen is too small to read and the letters to hard to type on.

Summary: I paid a lot of money for this unit (over $600) and it worked fine until TomTom had me update the firmware. The firmware update erased all maps and would no longer download the new maps. I called TomTom -- they wouldn't fix it, even though it was their firmware update which screwed up my unit.

Summary: I was heading out on a 3 week 3000 mile trip and the first time I mounted the Rider to my bike the RAM mounting plate pulled out of the fixed mount-the metal inserts just popped out. I was about 5 minutes from leaving and it broke.
Summary: After struggling with my TTR2 for 3 years (mainly because the initial cost was an extravagance) I finally realize it's a piece of junk. I've replaced the charging cradle ( it packed up a couple of weeks outside of warranty) but charging is still problematic - apparently this is a well known issue.
