"Save your Money, Update your cell or buy a Garmin."
2 December 2011
Pros: Looks very nice. But no support unless you spend more money to update the Tom Tom you just bought.I called Tom Tom and told them how inacurate there map was, they said I had to "Buy a new Map!" for $49.99, ***! I explained it was new.no help
Cons: There is no need for these anymore since cell phone can access the internet and pin point exactly where you are.The tom tom will not stayed power on it own for more then 15 minutes then its dead Tom Tom Support will not help these will be obsolete.
It gets me where I'm going even if it's too dark to see the signs.

Summary: I had one before and it was stolen, so I was thrilled to find the exact model on ebay for such a low price. It's easy to use, and what I like best is that the voice tells you when and where to turn - giving the name of the street, and even what lane to be in. As with all GPS devises, as I've been told, it sometimes takes me the longest way or the most expensive way, but when I'm lost that doesn't matter so much.
Summary: It's cheap and it does what it say it'll do. It's just that simple. Good colors and nice volume. I actually bought it for using TOMPLAYER which enables you to play movies and music on a GPS. It works great for that. The processor is a little slow, but you can't beat it on price.
Cons: takes forever to get started and find a satellite, tells me to turn right where there is no turn, if you select avoid HOA lanes it'll rout you through secondary streets--NOT COOL in Washington DC! Very poor tech support options, very poor user guide, won
Summary: I really enjoy this product, it is user friendly and gets the job done. It let's me know when stop lights and gas stations are coming up. It is small enough to store in my glove box, and it has clear sound. When you want a new destination you just click the map. This is exactly what I wanted, nothing fancy but still a great product.
Cons: My TomTom One XL worked pretty good (almost very good) until I spent $80 to get 18 months of map updates. Heaven forbid you ever have to update this thing, and you will because the map mine came with was pretty out of date. Updating this thing completely
