Very Disappointed and Dissatisfied With Product.I wish I had not purchased.

blueswitness, Ebay
8 August 2011
  • Summary: Even if I charge the GPS overnight and it is plugged into my power source in my car, it constantly shuts off due to no power in the battery. This happens at the worst times and won't come back on unless I charge it for hours. It is totally undependable.

Do not do business with this company

J. Whiteside, Amazon
19 July 2008
  • Summary: Do not do business with this company. I just bought this product and have had nothing but trouble with map updates and their technical support department. Their solution to everything is try and sell you upgrades and then you discover you have to purchase hardware updates to use the upgrades.

waste of money

L. Razoumov, Amazon
11 June 2008
  • Summary: I own TomTom One for several months already and I am disappointed. First of all, maps in NJ/NY area are not accurate. On numerous occasions TomTom One instructs me to turn left against the sign "No Left Turn". After three months of use the battery does not hold charge for more that 15 minutes.

PIECE OF TRASH

Overstock
1 June 2008
  • Summary: I bought this one for my daughter's 16th birthday so she could find her way home. I should have stayed with what I already have. My Garmin works great but the Tom Tom is the worst I have ever seen. While driving down the road, it starts alarming and saying you on the wrong side of the road.

Defecive

Jeff, Amazon
27 December 2007
  • Summary: TomTom shipped a large quantity of these knowing they are defective. Every time you turn it on it locks up in a White Screen of Death (WSD) and you must use a paper-clip or some other pointy object to press the reset button.

No Way to Make Zoom Stick, it's going back

theDyker, Amazon
24 December 2007
  • Summary: I have had many GPS over the last 5 years and am not new to GPS technology. I was shocked and surprised that there is no way to make the zoom "stick" as a personalized setting. After a few seconds, the screen zooms back in to an internal preset distance of about 1/2 mile.
