Summary: I bought this product because I wanted something small that could fit in my pocket. I like the very easy menu and how fast the signal is found. Nothing complicated, not a big screen like other gps, but still a great product. It gets me where I want to go, and it is very light. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
Good, helpful device. Be sure to stock up on EasyPorts though.

Summary: I have owned my 140S for about two years, and it has been a great tool for getting me to my destinations on time. It gives excellent directions, and I love the fact that it tells you what the speed limit is in areas that you are not familiar with. The device gets a GPS signal relatively quickly, the interface is pretty easy to use, and the "find alternative route" and "avoid roadblock" features are incredibly helpful.
Good GPS that does the same basic job as larger units costing much more

Summary: While the screen is a little smaller than most GPS systems, I like it because it does not take up much dash room, or clutter my console. It gets me exactly where I want to go, and back again. That's what it is supposed to do....right. The extra features in this little unit are not complicated to operate and will get you to any destinatin you require from places to eat, to gas stations, to hospitals, to area attractions.
Summary: I purchased this after my long, satisfactory experience with a TomTom One Third Edition (a good basic model GPS). The new features provided by this model are the "IQ Routes", Lane Assist, EasyPort mount and spoken street (and freeway exit) names. The IQ Routes uses information submitted anonymously by TomTom users, to determine what is really the fastest route, at a given time of day (i.e. Main St. may not be fastest during rush hour).
Summary: I've purchased 5 130 and 140 tomtoms for myself and my daughters, and as a basic unit that gets you where you want to go they're great. The plug in charger on the other hand is junk. The nose on mine broke off in the lighter. And the one I just recieved arrived with the charger nose broken in the undamaged box. Having learned from experience, when I ordered my new tomtom I also ordered another plug in charger.
Summary: My last Tom Tom was stolen out of my car b/c I had left it hanging. I chose this as a replacement for the price and attributes. I like that the part that attaches to the windshield is now connected to the actual device. However, it seems that when I try and re-position the screen it always pops out of the attachement. This makes is super convenient to take down when you're not in your car. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a GPS device.
Summary: I wrote up a review for the TomTom but it must have not saved?!? Anyways, to make a long story short....setting this thing up is a pain in the @$$! It is not hard, but takes up to 4 hours. Back it up first, then delete some voices (I kept 2). Then download updates, then load them to TomTom (software makes this easy to do, just takes forever).
