I like TomTom products but didn't realize the screen was so small
23 September 2011
Summary: Screen is too small for my use and I am afraid I would have a difficult time viewing the screen and information on the screen. I have other TomToms so I do like the product just the size is not a good fit for me.
Summary: It seemed ok to start with but using it around New York city was a problem. I drove up the west side wanting to go over Brooklyn Bridge but for some reason it got me as far as battery park then sent me round and round in circles!!!
Summary: I own a Garmin (comparative in price)and I have tried this TomTom. The TomTom is very easy to use and set up is great. It's very compact. I like how you can download other owner's street corrections. It also has a lot of customizing features. What I don't like.
Summary: This model Tom Tom loses connection with the sattelites often. Sometimes it is right when I need turn information. If I elect not to follow the path suggested by the GPS it is very, very slow calculating another route. I could have done better; I should have done better.
Summary: Easy to use, can find anywhere I need to go. It takes a few minutes to acquire the satellite, but if I turn it on just before I go it's fine. People say it can be a little slow, but I'm in a big city and if I drive at a reasonable speed it has no problems keeping up.
