Nice GUI, but BAD support

digitaldiver, shopping.com
2 February 2007
  • Excerpt: I have been using Navigator 5 for the past year on an HP IPAQ 6515 w/built-in GPS, and a Palm with bluetooth GPS. The interface is clean and fairly easy to navigate. Basic functions (select destination and get directions there) work well.
  • Pros: Nice GUI, simple basic operations
  • Cons: Awful support, uninstallable updates, lack of advanced features, poor traffic service

Great, if it has the correct address for your destination

acooperoz, shopping.com
1 February 2007
  • Summary: My final recommendation is to steer clear of this product. It has too many incorrect points of interest and cannot be relied upon for anything.
  • Pros: Gets you where you need to go, if it has the correct address.
  • Cons: Frequently has incorrect address and takes you away from your destination

It is identical, other than being a different processor and having an external bluetooth connection for communication.
  • Pros: CHEAP! Easy to use, small, great support, nice interface (PDA)
  • Cons: Maps could have been easier to install

Stopped me getting lost

caustin10, Dooyoo
11 April 2010
  • Excerpt: This was the first satellite navigation that I ever owned. I got it on ebay for £100 which I thought was quite a bargain at the time as the full size versions were still selling for £400 or more.
