Summary: Great little unit, but beware ... the 2G cellular service from AT&T that this device depends upon for Live traffic (and other) service will go away entirely at the end of 2016, and will be selectively phased out in various American cities between now and then.
Summary: Great traffic info, amazing in fact, when it works, but LIVE data services/data connection is not that reliable even in large metropolitan area. But amazing when it works. TERRIBLE customer support - top 10 worst companies I've ever dealt with for support.
Summary: This device functions exactly like my previous Via 1535TM (which was stolen) and I am sorry that I chose the GO LIVE version this time around. It does not come with an activation code and contacting tech support was a waste of time.
Summary: This GPS was not all I had hoped it would be, and came up short in several areas compared to my 4 year-old Nuvi. The interface is not as friendly, even though it does a lot of things the Nuvi can't do. It seems to take more screen taps to get the job done.
Summary: THIS TOM TOM GO LIVE 1535M SAID I HAVE A LIFE MAP , WHEN I TRY TO UPDATE IT INFORM ME THAT I WAS 14 MONTH OUT DATE. IN ORDER TO GET A UPDATE I NEED TO PAY ABOUT $65.00 TO HAVE A UP DATE. WHY SHOULD I PAY ANY THING IF IT A LIFE UPDATE
Summary: Item was shipped and rec'd as promised in email . GPS package was worn however all accessories were in like new condition. Having problem activating the lifetime map update code. there was no mention that activation code would be invalid in details of GPS.
Summary: I wish I could give this device four or even five starts because it does what it is supposed to do so well, that is to navigate. The problem is largely TomTom's lack of clear documentation. Setting up the TomTom, I spent a lot of time looking for a mysterious icon.
