Not user freindly, basic functions too hard to access, get a Garmin
25 February 2014
Summary: Long story short, this GPS is just too cumbersome to use while on the fly. Basic functions that need to be accessed quickly are hidden several menus deep in completely counter-intuitive places. I owned an entry-level Garmin from 2008, which was far better than this "modern", high end TomTom.
Summary: Live services failed on December 31, 2013. It is now January 10th and I still have no live services. I have been on the phone, off and on, with TomTom since Jan 2nd, to no avail. I have to keep calling THEM because they promise to call me back and I never hear from them.
Summary: This is a good and capable gps. But buyers beware though! The LIVE services that TomTom is trumpeting will only work, I repeat, only work, in the country or place where the gps was bought. For example, I live in Canada and so I bought the gps in Canada.
Touchscreen is very slow and Battery life is not good
22 May 2013
Summary: Touchscreen is very slow and Battery life is not good. Touchscreen is taking lot of time to response. Even if you charge the battery full and switch off the battery is dying. Not user friendly.
Summary: I purchased this GPS because of all of the available features and because of my good experience with TomTom, having owned a Go Live 740....The unit I received never did have access to all of the live services..
Summary: I bought this to replace my old ToMToM which was very basic and still works, but the suction mount wore out. I am a mobile notary and travel 3 counties to people's homes to notarize loan documents. I have a very bad habit of not giving my destination address to my family when I leave my house.
Summary: The product itself is a fairly good device and works well on most things. The live traffic worked well but maybe a little slow. I came upon a traffic incident that had I-81 shut down, the accident had been there long enough for the state to have electronic signs put in place 20 miles before warning...
