Summary: It is a great product but the refurbished version may come with used batteries. Mine doesn't last for more than 30 minutes. I love the product and I boght a new battery in order to improve the battery life.
Summary: This was our first experience with GPS and we were dubious at first but sold within the first day's use. It took a little getting used to, to believe it literally but you must. If you're on a freeway and it says exit on the left you must take it seriously and get into the left lane and not assume it...
Summary: I've only had it a week, not long enough for a proper review, but some things should be pointed out - - The $194 price on amazon for the 730T is less than the 199 price for the 730. Traffic for less!
Summary: nice features such as the reading text messages out loud and the FM transmitter is VERY good quality. however, i havent figured out how to load MP3s and stuff onto it yet (most likely need to be on the sd card) also, i was going to camp and the little country roads are off by like 100 feet on the...
Summary: I just wanted to post a review after ordering and recieving my 730T two weeks ago. I read through these reviews in advance and wanted to clear up a few things to begin with. First, the 730 has a tonne of options that are factory default to off out of the box.
Summary: I have owned several GPS' over the last few years. Garmin & Magellan are OK, but the TomTom Go730 T is the best bet for under $200. I have the Garmin Nuvi 760 in my wife's car and it works well. It's strong point is a very simple menu.
Impressed, nice functional unit, with a couple shortcomings

Summary: Growing up as a sailboat racer, I've been using GPS systems since their inception and before in the LORAN days. Garmin has always been the big name in GPS, IMO. With that said, I've owned a few Garmin automobile GPS units, and purchased the Blackberry Storm Garmin software.
Summary: I bought my TomTom GO 730T about 2 weeks ago. It works very well and it's easy to work with. The TomTom Go 730T has alot of features and they are very useful for me. But I have been living in my neighborhood for 3 years, and when I apply my address in, it doesn't have it in the map.
Summary: I bought this unit a few months ago as an upgrade from an older Garmin GPS that was 3-years ago. Pros: - IQ Routes - it's amazing that it can reroute you depending on time of day and historical traffic data. the Arri vial Time is gives me is usually dead on.
