Summary: The TomTom Go 720 is an older model but still functional. LIKES: In country TECH-Support! Bluetooth phone compatibility - iPhone Wide screen 4.3" Customization - map color interface. - startup/icon/shutdown wallpapers.
Summary: - Great buy! - If you are looking for a great, functionally rich GPS system at an exciting price. TomTom 720 is the way to go. I bought it at $357. Comparable products from Garmin/Megallan costs around $500 as of this writing.
Summary: I pulled my Tom Tom out of the box, charged it for the required 2 hours and then started playing with it around the house. It proved super easy to program and I liked that I could see the instructions to my destination in text as well as the normal map view.
Summary: the only thing about this that i would change is the pre-installed POI package, you have to know the name of the POI directly. for example, if i were wanting to search only mexican restaurants, i couldn't; i would have to scroll through every kind of restaurant.
Summary: The TomTom 720T does what it claims IF you have the right cell phone. (Had to change to Motorola from LG) The maps are updated frequently but it doesn't appear updates get around to my area often.
Good Value for money, poor customer service, IQ routing and lane guidance work well

Summary: I purchased a new TomTom Go 720 ($179) yesterday after much deliberation. I was considering buying the Garmin 760 ($250) but decided to go with the TT 720 which seemed to be better value for money. The TT 720 came loaded with App.
Summary: I have read a number of reviews that pretty much tell you to steer clear of TomTom and go for a Garmin. These reviews claim that the TomTom is buggy, slow to find a GPS signal, and gives incorrect driving instructions. I did not find this to be the case.
Summary: After using a Garmin Nuvi 350 for a while, it finally was ready for retirement and I started looking for something new. The 720 seemed like a good way to go. Unfortunately for me, I have become fluent in Garminese so switching to Tomtom has been somewhat of a challenge.
Summary: i recently bought a tomtom and overall it has been excellent. The features are very useful but it takes some time to navigate and become familiar with the menus because there are SO many options. If you want a navigation system that is totally custom and personalized, this is the one for you.
Summary: I have owned several GPS units and I believe that those made by TomTom to be the easiest to use and the best for navigating while driving. Also, I like the fact that you can correct the map yourself AND share these corrections with other users.
