Summary: I can't give any stars to the seller but the product is very good since I have had the Tom Tom since 2009 and I love my TomTom. Recalling that day I was looking for accessories for my GPS on Amazon using my phone I was looking for replacement battery, while I was scrolling through I got notification of a new email thanking me for the purchase of TomTom Go 630.
Summary: The Tom Tom GO630 is supposed to have great applications. The problem is with the touch screen. The unit automatically switches to the help mode. No matter what you do, the unit switches to this mode rendering it useless. This problem is not unique and should have been found by quality control, and a recall issued. Customer service is a nightmare! I was deployed much of the time I was trying to find solutions and the warranty expired.
Summary: I sent it back this one had problems, taking a 6 hour trip it started to wigg out keep jumping to menu and serch for police departments. It was defective. To me this on was crappy I bought a Garmin streetpolit c330 and it out performed the TomTom.
Summary: You get what you pay for!! This Tom Tom keeps fluttering back and fourth from screen to screen for no reason and the driving directions that are programed into the machine always have a way of disappearing?? It would be a wonderful product if it worked the way it should, but I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it.It also goes straight to the local Police department on the screen for no reason at all, so be careful when you touch the screen because you...
Summary: I purchased this device in May 2010. Exactly 1 year after I received it the device malfunctioned. You guessed it, the warranty is for... 1 year. Company response included 7 different procedures, the last of which was to format the device. But then when none of these steps work they tell me that formatting the device invalidates the warranty!
Summary: I bought TWO (2) Go630's BOTH of them have the "ghosting" or "phantom" key pressing issue. While under warranty they told me to clean the screen and reinstall software(ploy to push me past the warranty). Sort of worked for a while. Kept happening - now I'm past the warranty and of course they refuse to do anything. This major problem is widely known throughout the internet and TomTom refuses to address it. Phone wait times are an hour.
Would be fine if the quality control wasn't terrible

Summary: Our first unit started showing flaky touch screen behavior within the first hour of our first trip. We sent that back and they sent a refurbished unit as a replacement (apparently the fact that it was purchased as a Christmas gift, and thus went unopened for over a month, did not sway them from their policy of sending refurbished replacements for warranty service after a certain period).
Summary: As long as he works, the route always leads to the place I want to go. But often I start driving and the Tomtom will suddenly start switching between screens and end up at telling me how to get to the closest police station. By foot. I did google it and it seems a common issue with this and the 730 tomtom models and the only thing that kind of helps is cleaning the rim of the tomtom where it touches the screen. apparently dirt stuck there may cause this.
