Summary: Toured all over France, Switzerland and Italy and the sat nave took us to all destinations as well as providing parking information which was very useful. It could do with a sunshade on top but reducing the brightness of the screen combats glare on the screen.
Summary: So far very pleased with this. Light years better than my old Tom Tom XL. Easy to use as most of the basics are intuitive. Worth reading the long instruction manual to see what other things it can do, even if I will probably only use a fraction of the capability.
Summary: I am becoming paranoid about speed cameras which seem to be popping up in increasing numbers in sneaky places. As well as being a clear and easy to use sat nav, the Tom Tom Go 6000 alerts me should my speed drift above the prevailing speed limit as well as warning of accident black spots, fixed and...
Summary: Great product - just don't forget that the charger links to the back of the windscreen mount too - a duster and gaffer tape is not very effective. I have just used it for a 5 hour drive with mixed conditons - better than any of my previous sat-navs.
Summary: The best TomTom on the market. Using it for last year, every day as a AddLee driver in and around London. No, not as a map - as live traffic information. Superb piece of tech. Very reliable LIVE traffic information, updated almost continuously.
Summary: This has been brilliant. Formerly I used my phone for SatNav but bought this to negotiate a trip to Europe. Practicing with it in the UK has shown its brilliance. So on a trip home from Wales the other day, the TomTom alerted me to traffic ahead, then flagged up something alone the lines of 'did I...
Summary: TomTom is the standard for the rest of the GPS Navigation Devices to follow. I took my GO 6000 out of the box and, pretty much, it was ready to GO. Traffic updates are precise and the display is fantastic for those to have to wear glasses for driving.
Incredibly useful features of all map updates are included in price and intelligently avoids traffic problems in deciding route

Summary: Great for my work as a supply teacher where I often have to go to different schools at a moment's notice. It is also intelligent so will direct me by different routes to the same school depending on traffic conditions and road works. Removes all stress from the travel for me.
Summary: I purchased this unit to replace aging Garmin units. My car has an inbuilt TomTom unit so I have got used to the TomTom system, however the Go 6000 has a different system but nonetheless the mapping and speed of use are excellent.
Summary: Beautifully finished, a quality item. Feature packed with lifetime maps, traffic avoidance, regular updates and voice control being amongst those included with this model. A large clear screen further helps and some of the foreign name pronunciations will entertain on long journeys.
