Excerpt: Excellent click-and-collect service to my local petrol station. Downloading to set up was very slow. It took 7 hours, so allow plenty of time, but at one time it warned it was going to take a further 32 hours, but completed the task in the seven hours.
Excerpt: I've had a Tom Tom since day one. This one has an excellent display and does the navigation as well as any but the menu system is less intuitive than previous menus and lacks many of the previous configurations such as selection of different warning sounds for different events and a tedious...
The touchscreen is great especially as there isn’t a lot of clutter on the screen which means icons can be bigger. The touchscreen has all the typical features such as pinch, zoom and swipe. Once you have entered your desired location you can go over the proposed route quite easily.
Summary: Bought this as I have 2 cars and travel o lots of addresses. The digital traffic and rerouting is superb. At first didn't trust it, so when it gave an alternate route out of my village I ignored it (I knew best!!) - yep there was a long traffic jam. I now trust it.

Summary: Much better than the old Tomtom. Some problems initially getting started and registering, but that was because I retained my previous account. I used a different email address to register and no problems. I would suggest a case for storing the Tomtom
Excerpt: I have scarcely used the Go 6000 yet. I have however enjoyed many a happy hour trying to work it while reading through the downloaded manual. I think I'll find it rather good but that I shall need a fair amount of practice to be able to use it confidently and fluently.
