Summary: People moan about satnavs but mine has got me to my destination many a time, the online updates keep you informed of any alterations to the roads. On the downside I have been told to turn right in Hastings "into the sea" so watch out. I would not be without mine though.
Summary: I brought this sat nav for my parents as they have had the newest version of tom tom before and found it to be toataly unreliable. This is the same model that I have had for years and have never had a problem. The sat nav came very well packaged and in only a couple days after ordering. Have only used it once so far but have found that it works impecabily.
Excerpt: The only reason I bought this particular model was because a friend of mine had done ALOT of research when they bought one and when I borrowed it, I actually really liked it and ended up buying one myself... I've owned this model for over a year after having the first one replaced by Tom Tom due to a malfunction and it cost me £229.00 from Halfords online...
Summary: I have owned the TomTom GO 720 for some time now and decided to buy my partner a TomTom Sat Nav for her birthday. As she doesn't need the European maps the GO 530 seemed a good choice. I looked carefully at the reviews of the next one up, the one that has the 'Live' function. As this carries a monthly subscription and also received very poor reviews with respect to computer compatabilty issues I decided that this would not be suitable.
Summary: My second SatNav the first being a Navman, whilst this performed very well, I felt the need to get an upgrade as time waits for no man. Very easy to set up, just follow the onscreen prompts and you are ready to go in minutes, the satellite pick up is excellent and typically within 10 seconds of turning on. The reception is so good you get full reception in even the cloudiest and rainiest skies something the Navman wasn't too hot on.
