Saves me so much time and hassle, excellent device.

Summary: Excellent build quality, very well designed menu layout and packed with customization options. The touch screen is also very responsive and doesn't make you feel like you have sausage fingers (even if you don't). Compared to my previous Medion Sat Nav, this one wins hands down in all areas.
Summary: i could not fault the tom tom 520 as in a previous review avoid buying the 530 as once you have all the updates by downloading them online (maybe a couple of differences) that is what you have and you save a wad of cash
Summary: I had put off buying a Sat Nav. not believing they would do what they claimed. How wrong I was. I would encourage all drivers have one. The Tom Tom I bought was a recommendation by Which, but I suspect most Sat Navs would be similar so price might be the decicing factor
Summary: I have never used a Satnav before so I can't compare it with its rivals but it is easy to use, I have hardly looked at the manual. And it is very impressive the way it calculates a new route so quickly when you turn off the suggested route.
Summary: My TomTom bluetooth receiver stopped working a while ago and I debated whether to replace it or use the money to get a hands-free set for my phone. The 520 gives me the hands-free capability as well as play mp3s and it acts as an FM transmitter so that I can play the MP3s through the car radio.
Summary: Got this TomTom today without any knowledge previously of Sat Nav. Just amazing piece of electronics. This thing recognises my voice and I just tell it where I want to go. Linked to my phone it brings me Bluetooth handsfree.
