Summary: First the Good News...Large screen and readable streets and commands. Has lots of capabilities most of which I don't use but they are there for the true afficionado..Voice commands are good and "hands free" phone use is pretty good and clear. Finds most streets, navigates very well, and fairly intuitive Sticks very well to the windshield..unlike many others Bad News...no clock; only when you will arrive.. Medium to somewhat poor sensitivity.
Overall very nice device and I would recommend it.

Summary: Like many of the features of the unit. The magnetic mount works well, making it easier to remove from base and set the unit. Voice recognition seems not to work well for me. It does not recognize my commands. But unit is easy to set manually.
Summary: Overall good unit. The touch screen response is a little slow but still good. The settings screen is a little convoluted but still fairly good when trying to find the option you want. The manual isn't very explanatory. It would help if there was a quick reference guide that showed what options there are below a heading. Very accurate with directions.
Summary: The display on this unit is very clear and sharp, but may have a bit of glare due to the smooth surface. The display contrast make it easy to see. The capacitive touch screen makes controlling this unit easy. Display update rate is great. Road accuracy is very up-to-date, but address accuracy was never very good. Non-city maintain roads (such as roads in large mall complexes, parks and cemeteries are non-existant on the TomTom.
Summary: My wife just had her rental car broken into in Belgium and all that was stolen was our Tom Tom 2535... so it must be good. Actually we love the Tom Tom, they have the best maps for Europe. We go to Europe twice a year, using it in UK , Switzerland, France Italy Spain and for ONE DAY in Belgium.
Summary: Worked fairly well, but always wanted to take us on the backroads through farmers fields and on one occasion, through a herd of cows.It didn't matter wether you chose fastest, shortest, or eco route. You cannot navigate solely by this GPS--- you still require a good map. Also showed many roads as unnamed, when in fact they all had posted names. Works well even with heavy trees surrounding you.
Summary: Had a 2535 and as one of the other reviews said very sensitive to the touch. I took a video of the screen going crazy without me touching it. I had an extended warranty so I returned it to the place of purchase but they did not have one in stock so I replaced it with a Garmin product. NOT EVEN CLOSE ! Traffic is much more accurate on the tomtom and gives realistic alternative route if needed. My 2535 had a plastic screen so it did not have much glare.
Summary: I have 3 other kinds of Tom Tom units and have always been quite happy with them. I bought the 2535 TM when it was on sale and it had the lifetime maps for US/Canada and Europe. The first 2535 lasted about 10 days before it would not power on. I returned for another unit and this one lasted about a week. It powers on but the touch screen does not function. returned for a refund as these units seem to be have a problem.
