Summary: I love my TomTom, but there are many glitches and problems that TomTom should improve on. You get lifetime maps for the US but not for Europe, they don't explain this very well, so it's bit deceiving if you don't look at the fine print.
Summary: Purchased as replacement for earlier TomTom that I absolutely loved and continue to use. 1) Steps have been added to the interface requiring more time to enter an address. 2) On any hot day, half of screen goes black from the heat -- seems like this would be anticipated?
Summary: awesome gps! I like it MUCH better then the Garmin. With the Garmin, you must completely spell and know how to spell the name to find a street. The Tom Tom pulls up a list of streets as you spell the address. Thats extremely helpful to people like me that can't spell names well.

Summary: The one star rating is due to a like new purchase that was supposed to be tested before shipping. When I got mine it would not show maps or download maps, it also had a dent on it, so I returned. Lets be clear though, I think the TomTom GO 2535TM is the best GPS made to date.
Summary: While TomTom may have nice products in their marketing the company will not honor their warranty. My TomTom failed in lest than a year. TomTom made me go through several hours of support when they knew the 2535 has problems. Now they won't honor the 1 year warranty.
Summary: This GPS is so great!!!! and TomTom offering free updated maps for life. I love this GPS so much, and it advises me of the best traffic routes so I can avoid traffic. I use it in Europe so this is so useful on the autobahns!
My first review ever as a Amazon customer for so many years. This product is not reliable at all!!!

Summary: The GPS signal just can't stay on! I only purchased this thing for a few months After all the updates, reset, whatever people suggest you to do on the discussion board, the GPS is always searching for satellites for 5 second, and connected to 7 satellites for 10 second.
Summary: I read all of the debate between Tom Tom; Garmin and others. I've own them all at some point and this is my second Tom Tom so there is my vote. I purchased this system although I have a brand new car with a Navigation System and Traffic indicator via Sirrus Radio.
Summary: I love this unit, especially the way you can take it down and put it back up without removing the suction cup. It's got a magnetic base (I think anyway) that holds the unit on and charges through it as well. The only thing I wish it had, and thought it did have, is a live search option.
