Summary: Bought this item for a trip to Spain last May and had no complaints whatsoever...like all GPS units I have used there is a bit of a learning curve to understand exactly what it means when it gives you spoken directions but after making a few mistakes the first couple of days of using it in a foreign country you quickly figure out what each instruction means "exactly"...such as "stay Right"...it does not mean follow the off ramp that is coming up on the right...
Complicated to set up and not enough memory to store 2 maps concurrently

Summary: I am taking a holiday in Europe and was fed up paying $22/ day for gps rental so I decided to buy this product. THe cost of the Europe map in addition to the North America map it came with was $105 which was a bit steep but then I discovered that the device cant store both maps at once. Changing them over takes about 1 hour and is fiddley. In terms of using it I find it is straightforward to use but the voice commands system does work with my voice.
Summary: Good overall GPS, not the most intuitive device when navigating the screens, but like anything youget used to it over time. The map uploads were pretty solid, we took it to Portugal and only got thrown of course 2 times in 3 weeks from one end of the country to the other. In Spain it did well, however we were only there 3 days.
Summary: Easy to use, this version of Tom Tom acquires satellite signals quickly. The lane indicator feature is useful, particularly in cities where the reaction time is compressed. The traffic feature is wonderful and will definitely save you time and aggravation. One thing on the wish list would be an "avoid" feature to be able to add roads, landmarks, neighbourhoods or even cities.
Summary: Bought 2535 WTE and found out that you have to pay for European maps. Not lifetime update at all. I spoke to customer support and they said that they are sorry for the misleading information but they can't do anything for me. You can have either one only (USA, Canada & Mexico or Europe) Where the box reads AND EUROPE. GPS is good but, you have to pay extra if you want European maps. Not lifetime updates.
Summary: TomTom is making a misleading product description on this World Traveller Edition. It says Lifetime Traffic and Maps Update, Maps include United States, Canada, Mexico and EUROPE (as described on the box). Once you activated the promotion code to get the maps updated, you realized that the EUROPE map update is only good for 90 days.
