Summary: I have owned Tom Tom's GO 740 Live and XXL 540 models. The 2535 is a major step upwards, in my opinion. Finally, the unit announces what side of the street your destination is on. Now, if they can only send out an update that will turn the darned thing on when you turn your ignition key!
Summary: I currently have a Tom Tom Go unit. It is several years old but still does the job. I purchased this unit as a second GPS, since my wife uses the other unit extensively, for her job, and I, now retired, went to Flordia, to see the shuttle launch and, wanted a GPS to get around.
Summary: 8/6/2011 I've updated my review to reflect updates to the hardware and software to improve their product. First, my GPS has not unexpectedly reset itself in months, so this model gets good marks in software stability.

Summary: UPDATE: I am on my second device and the battery has stopped holding a charge. This and the first one lasted for a few months and then started to no longer hold charge until the unit would not work without being plugged in.
Summary: If TomTom wanted Beta-testers, they would have had no shortage of volunteers. If TomTom had delayed the release of this item until it was fully functional, they would have had a few disappointed pre-order customers but otherwise happy users.

Summary: I have been awaiting the arrival of this model since hearing about it. I love the large screen, and all the potential great capabilities. Yet, I have been frustrated since opening the package on Saturday. There is only one voice that reads street names, they removed the compass (very disappointing).
Very nice, but voice command needs to be like Garmins

Summary: I like all the information that is displayed on screen, although I think it can be grouped a little bit better. I like being able to see the POI's on the screen. Magnetic mount works good, traffic avoidance was great.
Summary: Bought this item for a trip to Spain last May and had no complaints whatsoever...like all GPS units I have used there is a bit of a learning curve to understand exactly what it means when it gives you spoken directions but after making a few mistakes the first couple of days of using it in a foreign...

Summary: I am taking a holiday in Europe and was fed up paying $22/ day for gps rental so I decided to buy this product. THe cost of the Europe map in addition to the North America map it came with was $105 which was a bit steep but then I discovered that the device cant store both maps at once.
