Summary: I recently found myself having to replace my Tomtom 540XXL WTE, due to the touch screen not working and of course this happened after the warranty had expired so no free repair or replacement. The 2535 WTE being the latest flagship model and the fact that I have always found the TomTom interface the easiest to use it seemed that this device should be the one to go for.
Summary: This is the fourth GPS that I have purchased and by far the best. The traffic updates work great. Did have trouble putting in house numbers with message stating that number was not available, including my own house number. Did find way around this. Have had to submit a couple of map changes. This one actually accepted the submissions.
Great user friendly GPS, very frustrating software/updates

Summary: My experience with GPS units has primarily been with Garmins. I have an older 60cs, that I still use and love for my various adventures, and I have a newer 2360lmt. Overall, my experiences show that TomTom and Garmin give pretty equivalent directions and maps. Both have moments where they're confusing or not quite accurate, while both also have generally very excellent overall dependability.
Summary: Looked at a lot of reviews before purchasing this TomTom. Waited several months because of all the glitches people said they were having finally ordered. Updated without no problems, made several short trips and one long trip a week long hunting trip to Texas with no issues. One thing I wished they would do is let you travel to a POI with just a side trip intead of creating a new route. Oerall very satisified with product.
Summary: DO NOT BUY A GO 2535 TM! I recieved it and downloaded the software which took 5 hours. After that the Voice Command did not work saying "Voice Command is not avaiable in your country". I am in the US and downloaded the US maps. Called support said send it back to Amazon this is a Software issue can't help. Got the second GO 2535 same problem called support they said Oh we are now aware of the problem and hope to have a software update in two weeks to fix the problem.
Summary: Purchased in April 2011. For the most part, the routing has been very good. Very good in congested areas and on cross country trips. On two occasions, in rural areas, it did miss the destination by over two miles, but I always carry old fashion paper maps for backup. In July, the battery failed. Performed all the customer service directed reboots; still no battery power. Will send it back for repair/replacement when I get home.
Summary: The Tom Tom GO 2535 M is the best Auto GPS i have ever seen. It has kept me out of traffic jams and is a pleasureable driving companion on trips. I have a built in GPS in my 2007 Toyota Pick-up and also my 2010 Honda Insight. I had been thiking of upgrading the spftware in the Toyota but the Tom Tom GPS was cheaper and does a much better job. The logic it uses to solve driving solutions is the best I have ever used.
Summary: I received the Tomtom 2535TM World Traveler yesterday evening with eager anticipation as I own an older Tomtom GO930 and one of the less expensive XL models, not to mention an older Garmin, my first GPS. I was looking forward to all the new features plus the old features I am used to on my 930. First, after plugging this unit into my computer I downloaded the most current version of Tomtom Home. The unit connected and started a lengthy update download.
Summary: I'm not one to take the time to write a review, but I feel like I need to explain what I went through to find the right GPS for me. I hope someone else can benefit from the time I spent searching and testing different GPS units. My GPS quest started out when my wife asked me to buy her a good GPS. I replied to my wife, "But honey, your phone already has a GPS! See?!??!!!" and I showed her Google maps navigation on her Android phone.
Summary: I bought the GO 2535M Live! for the traffic feature. It is excellent, much more accurate than the competitive GPS that I've been using. There is a learning curve when changing over to another system, but I'm getting up to speed. There are differences, but once you figure them out I haven't found a better GPS than the GO 2535M Live! I also like the "MyTomTom" feature, that sends you any updated files to you whenever you plug your TT into your PC (I'm on Mac).
