Summary: The GO2535TM states in big letters on its box: 1. WORLD TRAVELER EDITION. MAPS OF UNITED STATES, CANADA, MEXICO, AND EUROPE. 2. LIFETIME TRAFFIC AND MAPS. A few months after I bought it (Serial number Serial # SM4442G02488) and tried to update the maps, the TomTom website informed me that my...
Terrible Customer Service. This GPS must be recalled. I want justice!

Summary: I have never written a review about anything before, but I really want to share my experience with Tomtom customer service about 2535tm. I bought this device about a year ago. It worked great for about 4 months, then the battery died.
Summary: My experience with vehicle based GPS is limited; I have a Garmin eTrex which I use for walking (love it) and I have an old Magellan with a tiny dim barely-viewable screen that got put in a draw a while back and hasn't seen the light of day since.
Great device! The voice recognition is amazing also!

Summary: UPDATE: I am on my second device and the battery has stopped holding a charge. This and the first one lasted for a few months and then started to no longer hold charge until the unit would not work without being plugged in.
Summary: I received the 2535 TM unit today. After having some difficulties getting it to link to my Tomtom account I was able to get to start downloading updates. The map update took about 30 minutes to download and to begin installing.
Lasted all of 1 week. Internal errors, CS suggests returning for refund.

Summary: I got the TomTom Go 2535TM WTE for a christmas gift. At first, I was thrilled as it looked great with some fantastic features. Then I attempted to use it. Many features do not work very well at all. Bluetooth calling is kind of a joke. It is ONLY hands free once you actually make the call.
Summary: If TomTom wanted Beta-testers, they would have had no shortage of volunteers. If TomTom had delayed the release of this item until it was fully functional, they would have had a few disappointed pre-order customers but otherwise happy users.
Summary: First of all, I live in Los Angeles and I've been using this GPS for about 6 months now. I don't know what's wrong with this TomTom but I find the software to be incredibly glitchy (the sound will turn off for no reason, or it will reset randomly).
Summary: Installation was easy and the safety suggestions for mounting this little device out of the driver's main line of sight to traffic should be followed to the letter. Like many electronic aides the TomTom makes a fascinating toy and improper mounting could distract a driver into an inadvertent game of...
