This is one of the best devices on the market in my opinion.

Summary: 1.My Grandson needed my TomTom 2505 so I purchased the TomTom2535. 2.There is nothing I dislike about the TomTom 2535. 3. I don't know about any other product because I have never owned anything but a TomTom GO. I have purchased 6 TomTom from the Go720 to the 2535.
Summary: Many reviews above talk about +ves and -ves so I am just going to focus on show stopper flaws here 1. If you miss a turn, the GPS takes forever to recalculate the route. By the time it has done recalculating you would have already missed the turn it worked out in the recalculation and the vicious circle continues. You would have to pull over to a parking lot for two complete minutes that it takes to recalculate before you could figure out where you are going. 2.
Summary: The TomTom Go 2535TM World Traveler made our recent road trip in Spain possible. We drove everywhere from remote mountain villages in Basque Country to major urban centers like Barcelona. While not 100% accurate with one ways etc. on some of the smallest urban streets, the GPS worked extremely well finding signals and giving accurate directions. The TomTom worked perfectly right out of the box and I had no problems with updates.
my side by side test proved tomtom to be superior as a "GPS"

Summary: I usually do not take the time to write reviews but this product deserves it. I love good food and good restaurants since I work in the industry but I am never passionate about writing reviews for places I eat at like I am about writing this review. I tested the Tomtom 2535 side by side against the Garmin 3490 for 2 whole weeks and it is Tomtom hands down!
Summary: This unit has some really nice features. However, it is not user friendly at all! Mine died just 2 days after the 1 year warranty expired. Pretty expensive compared with my 8 year old Garmin Nice Try TomTom - but you're forcing me to go back to Garmin.
Summary: I had an old TOMTOM via an HP IPAQ, and liked the TT interface. Hence I bought this unit. I must say that TT has too many models and numbers, and this confuses the buyer. The unit arrived rapidily from Amazon, and I read all the documentation to start/update it via the TT website. That site said: "Mandatory Update" and asked for the unit's serial number. It then rejected that number and said invaild number (It proved to be a valid number.
Summary: I bought several TomTom units over the last few years (and so have had to be creative and get new emails, since, for some reason, TomTom considers that their customers can only use only one device at a time, so each unit must be registered to a different email - go figure!) and have found them easy to use, as compared to other GPS systems. I previously bought and used a 540XXL and used it both in the USA and in Brazil.
Summary: If your heart is set on getting a TomTom Do not buy directly from their web site. I bought this unit directly from TomTom. After receiving the item I realized that it was not what I needed. I immediately sent a request for an RMA to TomTom. It took 3 emails back and forth just to get an RMA. The person in customer support either could not understand plain English or was intentionally dragging their feet. It went something like this. Hi I need an RMA.
Disappointed long time Tom Tom fan, next time I'll choose Garmin

Summary: My family has been a Tom Tom fan since Tom Tom One was out. I was excited about this model and could probably have not been more disappointed. Having recommended Tom Tom to friends and relatives in the past, I now have egg on my face. The live traffic update feature is a joke. I live in the Washington DC area and have used the feature here regularly as well as for trips to the NYC area, and it usually misses the mark, misses long time backups or construction.
