Summary: After our beloved garmin was stolen we picked up the Sanyo. It had an impressive list of features for a great price at the time (Nov 2008). While it does have many features listed we bought it as a GPS and that is all we cared about.
Summary: If you only want to go from point "A" to point "B", it's not a bad little unit. However, there are at least two deal breakers for me. (1), the battery didn't last long, and good luck replacing it. (2) once the maps are out of date, you're also out of luck.
Summary: This GPS is great. I used it during one of my road trip to New York City(I live in Alabama). The device is extremely precise and alert any turn or exit in advance allowing driver to be prepare for the turn. Also provide search for local busunesses ( hotel, Garage, restaurant etc...
Summary: This is not a bad GPS as reviews suggest. It has MP3, video, blue tooth, etc. But only one thing can be used at a time. If you use only as a GPS it is a better GPS than Magellan and many others. If you use other features they are good too. To switch an application you will have to close it.
Summary: This thing is absolutely terrible. It shows off great features as its selling point but none of them work or barely work. I've used lot's of different gps devices and this one is definitely the worst. Sanyo screwed up so many simple things with this device.
Summary: I liked the GPS unit, especially for the price, until I tried to find a battery replacement. It took me and 2 friends 2 hours to find one!! I finally found the battery at an oversea's outlet to the tune of $75.00 with shipping.
Summary: Now, I am not hard on electronics at all. This product was good, when it worked. The FM transmitter was weak and the bluetooth was terrible, but i never used those much. The navigation was okay, but it couldn't find a lot of places, even though they were in older parts of Austin, TX.
Summary: Keep shopping and don't buy this unit. The features look good, but the functionality is not. It routes poorly, and it often does not recover when you deviate from the suggested route. What good is it when it acts like this. I will consider it a loss and go buy something that works.
Summary: This unit has a very impressive feature set. It's one of only two units I could find with both Bluetooth handsfree calling and backup camera video input... the other is the Pioneer F500BT. I gave this unit a try even though the reviews were very hit-and-miss. So far, it's lived up to the reviews.
