Summary: Electrical connector becomes loose and makes a bad contact. Problems with the 710 TND electrical connection as well. Think after a lot of complaints Rand McNally would change the type of connection on back. Replaced the wire several times and same problem.
Summary: This device is a great tool ,worked well for me a new local driver. Gives you great routes to unfamiliar locations. Just make sure you keep it updated. The only thing is you won't get up to date traffic unless you get the accessorie
Summary: This product was great while it lasted. It had A LOT of features we didnt even use. We had to return it because it went out but I can say it was refurbished. They quickly took it back and refunded my money with NO hassle at all.
Summary: The routing feature worked great for our box truck, keep our guys on proper roads for commercial traffic. There were some major issues though: 1. The screen. It is not nearly bright enough. The sun glare really overpowered the screen making it hard to see directions. 2. USB charger.
Summary: This is the worst GPS I have owned. The power slot is also the USB port and it goes on and off until it freezes up. First time I called they said my power cord was the problem. Still shorted out so I sent the unit in for repair. Came back still shorted out and I sent it back.
Summary: I purchased my unit in april of 2012 and two months later it "blue screened" and froze up, i sent it back and a month later got another unit. The very first time i used it within an hour it flickered twice and turned off and would not turn back on.
Summary: I am a full-timer in a 40 ft motor home and pull a towed vehicle, Nissan Pathfinder. I bought the 510 and then traded up to the 710 after 45 days. The 710 has put me on back roads that were basically unsafe for my rig. Then, I started to get lockups and resets have done no good at all.
