Summary: Using the Qstarz BT-818XT with a Nikon D3200 and AOKA AK-N90 Bluetooth plug-in receiver. Range is about six feet, pairs almost instantly. Doesn't matter which unit is turned on first. Takes about one minute to lock onto GPS satellites.
Summary: I use a Bluetooth GPS with Microsoft Streets and Trips to call on customers in my territory. I have used the Dual and the Garmen GLO that also utilizes the GLONASS system. Both of these had a tendency to not automatically connect via BT so you would have to do another scan to use them.
Summary: This amazing unit comes with pleasing facilities. I mean it is easier to use and handle and can be used totally wire less. I really like this receiver set. . 66-Channel LS20031 GPS Receiver Module is another superb GPS receiver. Select the correct one depending on your project.
Summary: After playing with a few Android app using the internal GPS, I realized that I need better resolution on the data rate. This BT-Q818XT does the trick. Now I tape on the GPS receiver before tech-ting the car.
Summary: I use this along with Nikon D600 AK-N7000 Bluetooth GPS Adapter like another user mentioned before. It works greats and 95% of my photos have the geo-tagging on it, when I imported into Lightroom it seen no problem.

Summary: I use my Q818XT with Trackmaster software on several android phones to log speed/position data when I attend track day events at road courses throughout the south. I have had my Q818XT for over two years and it that time it has work flawlessly.
Summary: Stopped charging. I thought it was the battery but then realized it's the device itself. I now charge the battery on an old nokia phone which uses the same battery and then place it back on the receiver. UPDATE 06/17/2015): Both buttons broke.Needed a paper clip to turn it on and off.
Summary: This GPS works great. It locks on to satellites quickly and is pinpoint accurate just as a quality GPS should be. I use it mainly for autocross and road course racing in my car connected to a tablet.

Summary: An absolutely reliable device, I use it everyday and have since last nov of 2014 to this day. it sinks up with my laptop sw immediately everytime. the best one I have had so far...the only complaint is the charging port is not a micro usb but a mini...no one uses the mini anymore why have it?
Summary: Its darn good and does a great job receiving the signal as far as 30 feet from the sending unit. The LED lights eliminates the guess work on weather or not that it is receiving the signal of the camera or the satellite.
