Summary: What a bad expirience with Polar product. This is the 3rd monitor which stopped working after a couples of weeks. I owned a 625x, rs800. They did no work after one year of use, even that, I bougth this RC3 GPS in September 2013 and after 3 weeks GPS stopped working. Hard to believe quality of these devices.
Summary: Polar used to built top products in the past. This model although packed up with many goodies it has several potentially features that may cause defects. First of all It came whith an H3 Receiver which stoped working after 2 months. Luckily the local dealer took in the cost due to the warranty and replaced it with an H7 receiver which as the technician explained me, it is much better then the H3 one.
Summary: So far, my watch is working great for running...it gets the GPS signal very fast and the information recorded is very useful and accurate. Maybe a little too big for my wrist, but I can live with that!
Summary: After looking over many HR monitors I chose this one. No regrets. It's awesome for running, biking and outdoors activities. Some friends of mine have cheaper devices from other brands that do similar functions, but I have to say this one is way better, even if you have to pay a couple dollars more.
Summary: I spend my money in this watch thinking that was a good idea, wrong, 10 minutes waiting for GPS, and give you wrong measurements, and three months later, the heart sensor stop to work, spend an extra $60 in a new sensor, and the problem was the watch, please, never buy polar, never.
