Has so much potential, and is a very decent head unit, but Pioneer really dropped the ball on a few important things

Summary: It's a very competent head unit, but like some others may have mentioned before, it has a couple GLARING flaws. 1) Street names are displayed far and few on the maps. This is the absolute most frustrating issue. All other GPS systems I've used in the past dynamically display street names on the screen.
Summary: The reason I brought this model was because of the interface with my I pod, but it does not work after my car heats up in the afternoon. The GUI is not that user friendly. Needs many improvements.

Summary: Unit worked great until it stopped working. Spent $1500 on this two years ago. Figured it would last more than two years. It's not completely broken. As long as I don't want to use the unit to navigate (buttons don't work on face), as long as I don't mind the same CD and SD card that's in it (faceplate won't open) I'm in good shape. Seems to me I could have spent $400 for a great head unit and used my garmin or phone to navigate.
