Summary: The reason I brought this model was because of the interface with my I pod, but it does not work after my car heats up in the afternoon. The GUI is not that user friendly. Needs many improvements.

Summary: Unit worked great until it stopped working. Spent $1500 on this two years ago. Figured it would last more than two years. It's not completely broken. As long as I don't want to use the unit to navigate (buttons don't work on face), as long as I don't mind the same CD and SD card that's in it (faceplate won't open) I'm in good shape. Seems to me I could have spent $400 for a great head unit and used my garmin or phone to navigate.
Summary: My unit went dark after approximately 18 months. Since it was past the 1 year period it was sent to the factory. At this point its been out for repair for 3 months allegedly for back order parts. Be smart don't buy this unit. I'm at the point of giving up and getting something else. I paid for an additional 4 year warranty at Car Toys, which it turns out is useless after the 1 year manufacturers warranty.
Summary: I really like this unit. I've had other touchscreen navigation units before and this one is pretty good. The navigation portion of the unit is usually spot on and I've never had a problem with reception no matter where I have used it (and my nav antenna is actually located underneath the dash). The directions are clear even in cities like Washington DC where things can become very confusing very quick. The audio and video portion of the unit is great as well.
