Summary: The reviews were reasonable on this navigation blue tooth receiver. The usability, functionality and visibility proved to be much worse than any device I have previously used. I can not see the screen in moderate brightness despite setting the device to the brightest possible screen setting. I am continuously fooled by the order that the menu prompts arrive, not so for other navigation and audio devices I use. Avoid this Pioneer product.
Summary: Bought this unit to replace my stock on my 2010 corolla. Installation was a little difficult and I have to purchase a steering remote. But once installed, It produces an awesome sound. Especially that I set up my car with infinity all around and 2 alpine amps. Navigation was accurate but needs updating coz I still have the 2010 version. Bluetooth was clear in both ends. bluetooth audio was convinient and the Ipod/Iphone feature was great.
Summary: Really frustrated with this product a) User interface stinks! Simple tasks like switching stations requires a lot of diverted attention, do not try while driving. Station presets setup doesn't work very well. The integration with a hands free steering wheel control is terrible. b) Navigation is bad!!! often times it shows me driving through a field or the middle of a building. WTF!
Summary: Well at first everything on the radio worked fine, i had it professionally installed and it was sounding great, the blue tooth worked fine until a few weeks ago it just stopped working, now thats a great feature to have your phone sync with your in dash unit and been able to play music from you phone without using a cable, the GPS works great and is on point only fault i have is with the blue tooth.
Summary: Great product, i have had it in my 2004 explorer for about 3 months now. No complaints and works amazing. Note if you have a iphone, you can control the iphone through this via bluetooth. I didn't know you could control it at first so i ended up buying a ipod connector. I recommend you have it professional installed, i had mine professionally installed and it took him a good amount of time to finish and get everything tweaked correctly.
Summary: GPS Function 1/5 If you are planning to buy this unit to use primarily as a GPS device, DON'T. The gps navigation software on this Pioneer unit is archaic compared to the Tom Toms if you have ever used one. The search function is down right unintelligent. Example: each time I search for a location it will not bring up by the the places according to my current location. I will bring up every single location it finds in my state.
Summary: Worst human interface ever. Try to tune an AM/FM station while driving, huge screen and tune buttons are minute. I had to prop my hand on mt dashboard so I don't hit other bigger buttons, and they are worried about entering navigation directions while driving. Sirius interface is the pits, one line of text with hardly any info, good luck to get the scrolling to work. Would never have bought this, the manual that I reiviewed online about the sirius interface is a lie.
