Summary: This deck is worth every penny I paid for it. It is a little slow on startup, but makes up for that with the beautiful and easy to navigate interface. My friend has the Clarion NZ-409 (same as the NX-409) and the interface and features are plain and boring.
Summary: I installed it myself and found it went in easily. There's a great online community for modifying this system as well. All the features advertised work great. I bought the separate ipod cable and the AVICs ipod interface is intuitive and simple.
Summary: This thing is great, fun and keeps getting better, being it's OS is Microsoft, i get to play with everything, changing the the font, adding buttons on the touch screen, etc etc. Oh and watching movies while driving is always exciting. Props to pioneer
Ignore the Outdated Reviews - Unit is almost perfect
J. Roberts, Amazon
30 December 2008
Summary: I was hesitant to buy this unit but after reading about the new 2.0 update my fears were eased a bit. I purchased this unit on Amazon and had Best Buy install it in my truck because I didn't trust myself to do the wiring.
Summary: I purchased this for our 2005 Honda Odyssey. Crutchfield did not have the mounting kit so I ordered it from another company. I also purchased the PAC SWI-PS for the steering wheel buttons. When I tried installing it myself I had an annoying hiss coming from the speakers.
Summary: The Pionner AVIC f900BT delivers. Installation is pretty straight forward and easy. The system does everything you expect and want. The only downside is the FN Tuner. While it functions well, it does not have scrolling text that some stations prodcast on traditional local stations.
