Summary: I bought this GPS because I heard you could hack into Th O/S and change it. Well after using it for a while and getting used to it I no longer see any reason to change it. The unit has TTS and works quite well. The only thing my wife has noticed is the cold starts are a little lengthy, but other than that its a fine little unit for the price. PauL R.

Summary: If Pharos offered a better website with updates available for this unit, I would give it 5 stars. The slightly computerized voice does not know how to pronounce many street names so they sound strange. Screen is beautiful and mapping seems more accurate than my Garmin I-3.
