Not worth the money

BBQ Guy, Amazon
26 February 2013
  • Summary: I received this unit as a gift and had problems right away. One of the biggest problems is you can't turn the unit off. The batteries don't last long and when you remove them the gps looses all the information so it has to be re-programed each time.

Do not buy this item

rhmotoman, Amazon
14 January 2013
  • Summary: Based on my experience, this unit is a piece of junk. I received my first GP123 in August and it worked for about 3 weeks. I changed the batteries and went to recalibrate the compass - all I got was a FAIL message. I tried maybe 40 times to get the compass to work with no success.

Mike, Amazon
20 August 2012
  • Summary: I can comment in relation to the GP123 that recently bought: it is a machine that works according to the specifications described by the maker, it generates reasonable data compared with professional apparatuses of industrial use that I also possess.

GP 123 faulty

John R. Mann, Amazon
19 February 2012
  • Summary: This unit is the second one as the first one would only display a barometric prresure of about 26 inches which would be the most severe of tropical depressions and since I'm in the Rocky Mountains where the pressure is about 30 I know that is wrong. Same issue with both units.

Outdoor guide

Robert Allsop "Looking in many directions", Amazon
13 July 2013
  • Summary: This device not only gives good general details valuable for outdoor activities but also provides fascinating information to those who appreciate reference data : the barometer function is very accurate, the compass indication precise in degrees, and informative for altitude ; though my own treks...

Oregon Scientific GP 123 Altimetro GPS

Traverso Pierluigi, amazon.it
24 January 2015
  • Summary: Prodotto conforme a quanto descritto.

Guido61, amazon.it
22 September 2014

Opzione return to the base

Grilli Massimiliano, amazon.it
28 August 2014
  • Summary: L'ho regalato a mio cognato, uomo poco pratico della tecnologia.

pessimo prodotto

marina, amazon.it
23 March 2014
