Summary: I've tried others this one's just easy to use. Map upgrade is expensive. Happy I don't need an upgrade. I even tried a different model by the same company and it didn't compare to this one. This is my second one of this model. I had a lot of hours on my original and I think it dird of heat stroke.
Summary: This item seems to be better than I expected according to the owneres manual, however I have not used the unit in the car. I will do that tommorow. I bought this product because of the price. I like the product (so far) because it seems to have more features than I expected. I dislike this product because it does not have a QWERTY input. This product seems to have more features than most in this price range.
Summary: The Nextar 3.5 inch gps is a good deal for the price I got mine for under $100 a few years ago. I have only had it give me wrong direction just a few times. That may be the fault of the satilite giving directions to thousands of gps's and not Nextar. Clear voice, updates most of the time within a few seconds if I would turn on the wrong street because of my mistake.
Summary: I purchased this gps 3 years ago during black Friday sales for $79. I've dropped it and it just keeps going. It tells you the street names and turns. It recalulates quickly. Eventually I will need to replace it to update maps, but I'll use it as long as feasible. I like that I can just sit it beside me to check.
Summary: I previously was given a Nextar X3-07 as a gift and it was the most accurate GPS i had seen. It was a pleasure to use and when it was stolen from my vehicle I did not hesitate to replace it with another Nextar product. This one is a year newer model and has some slight display and user function changes which are all for the better. Until proven differently Nextar will be the only GPS in my vehicle.
