Summary: We bought this GPS three years ago and it worked fine to get you where you wanted to go if you were not familiar with the area. We would leave it in the vehicle for use when ever we traveled. Most of the time we didn't need it because we knew the route.
dont waste yoru money - get a GOOD system elsewhere

Summary: Don't buy anything Nextar! They're a total crock! They, without notice to registered owners, stop having updates for maps when they feel like it. It's one use like having to use an old Rand McNally atlas for the year you bought it forever.
You've likely never heard of this brand... there is a reason for that.

Summary: I'm not sure if this is the exact model I had but if it is the bottom of the line it should be similar to my model. My Mom got a good price on my unit in November 2008, day after Thanksgiving, and also a unit for my Grandparents.
Summary: This is a nice little unit that calculates routes quickly and offers Text-To-Speech (TTS) making it easier to make the turn at the right place because it tells you the street's name. Others simply state "Turn Left Here!" and you may turn too early, having to make some maneuvers to get back on track.
