Summary: We bought this GPS three years ago and it worked fine to get you where you wanted to go if you were not familiar with the area. We would leave it in the vehicle for use when ever we traveled. Most of the time we didn't need it because we knew the route. Yesterday we went into unfamiliar territory and wanted to use it....
Summary: I thought the cradle I had, for the Nextar X3 Series, would fit the M3-03. I was wrong! Consequently, I'm searching the internet for a cradle for the M3-03. I can't mount it on the windshield without it! Regarding the GPS, it works fine - like all Nextar products do. I have no complaints.
Summary: We asked for a GPS for Christmas 2009, got this one, and it was completely useless by Christmas 2010. Almost immediately, the unit end of the power cord started to bare its wires, and a few months later the wires completely separated, despite our best efforts to salvage it with electrical tape from the start. We bought a universal GPS cord from Radio Shack, which I regret. We should have just bought an entirely new unit...of a good brand like Garmin!
Summary: I had a older model but it fell a broke. This model has more detailed directions and more features. This is a great value for a GPS. It's not big but that's OK you can put in your pocket and take it with you anywhere. It's hard to understand the voice with some of the street names.
Summary: I already had a Tom-Tom which I was pretty happy with, but I bought the Nextar on a whim because it was featured on one of those deal-of-the-day sites. I paid $39.95. I am now using the Nextar and have retired the more expensive Tom-Tom. The Tom-Tom has some advantages, including a choice of voices, which is good for me because I have a hearing deficit. But the sole voice on the Nextar (female) is okay. Not as clear as Tom-Tom's male voice, but still adequate.
dont waste yoru money - get a GOOD system elsewhere

Summary: I bought it last year and it works great. Only problem is, I got a message saying maps out of date, go to [...] to get updated maps. So I did that and it says there are none available, but you can participate in their trade-in program. In other words, you have to get a new one if you want updated maps. And this one doesn't have Canada. Otherwise, it's fine. No signal problems or anything like that.
Summary: I actually didn't have much choice in the matter when using this GPS. My mother had purchased this a year before even opening it from some QVC sale. I'm glad she got it, since it's a decent enough GPS for the price. My experiences using the device have all be positive. The ONE gripe I really have with it is that entering addresses on the fly can be frustrating, since it's difficult, but not impossible, to manage through the "suggestion" system sometimes when entering...
Summary: This was a replacement purchase for the same model I had received several years ago. It came with different software which was not as useful but I have been able to get sufficient use out of it to be satisfied.
