Summary: I was pleased to receive my Navman S50 after my Navman S30 was stolen. Now the S30 was good. Very Good. But the S50 is even better. The larger screen is very easy to read in all light conditions and the layout of the on screen map and information is well thought out and so easy to read at a glance.
Summary: When I purchased this unit, and submitted the original text of this review, I was very pleased with it. However, since then things have changed. Firstly, the good stuff. This unit is very nicely made and presented, and within the limits described later, does a decent job.
Summary: I bought this Sat Nav for my husbands birthday and although he is pleased with the way it operates, the size of the screen. clarity, ease of use etc he is very disappointed that it was out of date and needed updating straight away.
Summary: The Navman bid what it said it did. it is a great sat nav and is so much better than my wife's. I only have two problems with it. The first is Navman themselves i had a major problem with my first one and you have no way of speaking to Navman to resolve the problem over the phone.
Summary: Brought this sat nav system because I wanted the bluetooth application for handsfree driving. I sat for ages waiting for the navman to connect with my phone (sony ericsson p1i) but this would not happen.
Summary: My wife and I purchased this Satnav in a large supermarket near my parents yesterday. It looked good and seemed to have all the facilities that we wanted. We got into the car, and as my wife started the 80 mile journey back to our house I started setting it all up. At first it all looked good.
Summary: Ok -Until it crashes Fatal Exception error 0x0000005 Address 00023174 means it has crashed , mainboard fault means it can't be reset and has to be returned to manufacturer. Weeks of delay and no satnav in the meantime - Great after only 10 months of occasional use! Don't buy!
