Summary: I had the earlier version of this budget satnav which was stolen from my car(waste of time) I immediately purchased this and am delighted with it. Compared to the earlier Navman it is a piece of cake. It gives much clearer instructions and the volume is better. It also notes speed cameras and the road view is so much clearer. The screen is not very big but I am now used to it. There is no way I would pay big money for a higher spec moder as this does the biz.
Summary: My partner wanted to get me a sat nav as he knows I am not exactly a natural when it comes to directions. When in our local cash convertor recently we found a Navman S30 3D for just £30.00 so we decided to go for it. Obviously this isn't the price that this sav nav system retails at, when scouring the internet for prices I have found that this sav nav can generally be found for around £60.00 from most places.
Summary: Bought this to replace a Tom Tom version running on my PDA, which sadly failed. This is an excellent little Sat Nav. Finds the satellites far quicker than the Tom Tom, easy to use. Good screen graphics, clear voice commands, easy navigation of applications although finding how to use the demo mode proved a little fiddly at first. Speed camera alerts free for up to six months, works fine.
Summary: I bought this for my husband, and this is his review - Am very satisfied with the Navman S30 3D Sat Nav. Really easy to set up and work. Graphics are very good, well worth the money. One improvement could be made on it - the volume could be a bit louder. I drive a lorry and I have to have it on the highest setting.
