GPS/Pocket PC - All in One

bsjaye, Ebay
28 November 2010
  • Summary: I brought my Navman PiN 570 GPS Receiver because I wanted a PDA and GPS to get me where I need to be. The PDA helps me stay on track of appointments,to do list, and in spare time listen to the MP3 player while studing for a exam. The GPS side provided me direction to and from places I visit with family and friends.

Exellent combination of PDA and GPS

arm5511, Ebay
4 September 2007
  • Summary: I bought my first Navman PiN 570 more than a year ago, the second one for my wife few weeks ago. It's compact and easy to use. You can download tons of useful information from the Internet: dictionaries, e-books and much much more. Downsides: processor has limited power, it handles maximum 512MB memory card. I tried first 1 Gig, it worked, but would freeze frequently if was used as a GPS. With 512MB this problem was eliminated almost completely.

Agustin V. Melendez, Amazon

  • Summary: I've had my Navman GPS only for about a month now but it is a great product so far. The only thing I didnt like was I had to buy an external gps antenna cause the gps signal wasnt getting through my heated windshield on my truck. But the gps signal reception is great and its just a wonderful thing to have.

  • Summary: I cannot believe some of the negative remarks about this gadget .Some people just have no technical ability or knowhow . First of all ,this is a PDA and therefore has loads of software for it .Software that lets you view your photos ,there is software that will encode your holiday videos to play on the device with the correct viewing software , there is some great mp3 players for it too .I bought the SD Wi-Fi card ,so I now have internet access to check my e-mails.

Navman Pin 570

Mr Suterama, Amazon
18 January 2007
  • Summary: What a Bargain!!! What you get for your money is just amazing. This is my first SatNav, I have borrowed friends more expensive SatNavs and I find the pin 570 is not that much different at all. The Pin 570 comes with 512mb Sd card, I have upgraded my memory card to 2GB, I can store tones of photos and a large selection of mp3's. Being a pda, you have the added advantage of installing software. I have purchased & installed the TomTom Navigation system.

A brilliant navigational aid, and handheld PC

Donf18, Dooyoo
16 January 2007
  • Excerpt: I am as my other half would confirm I'm prone to getting lost when we go our for a run. Well getting lost might be putting it a bit strong, but I certainly have the oddest tendency to take a random turning and see where it takes me. This has had the undesired effect of putting us well behind schedule and having to search through the maps to find the quickest way home.
