Excerpt: The French site Mobinaute, has interesting and exclusive news about the iCN 320 (330 euros) and the iCN 550 (799 Euros, 899 Euros with Traffic Feed), the new PIMs from Navman. The gadgets will be released in Europe in the coming weeks as well as the US.
Summary: The iCN 320 is a low cost GPS unit equipped with a basic features set and designed for use straight out of the box. This will appeal to new buyers who are put off by the high price of in car navigation, but those wanting more advanced options would be advised to look elsewhere.
Pros: Low RRP, improved map display, out of the box operation
Cons: Small screen size, limited features, no AC adapter provided
Conclusion: With full functioning GPS units only a fraction more than this unit, Navman have cut too many features for us to really make this worth considering. The small screen and lack of a decent sized map meant that at one point we actually had to consult a paper map to see what was going on (not good).
Pros: Simple to use, works out of the box
Cons: Clunky to use, map view too small, not enough customisation options
