  • Summary: product is what I ordered execpt it would have been nice for original owner to reset all settig on device before selling it. Not including manual made it more difficult to reset it and work the item. Fast shipment.

  • Summary: well i love the unit itself although it was sent to me pre-programmed with all of Canada and it was shipped to the United States where I live so why would they program it for Canada. Now I have to send it to be re-programmed correctly.

Navman F20

nemoski, Ebay
19 March 2010
  • Summary: This GPS is a very user-friendly tool for the car. I am very pleased with the ease of navigating through the features. The verbal navigation gives more information than had expected including direction, name of road, as well as the exit number when driving on the expressway. I am very happy with my purchase. To get used to the directions and routes I have been using it for my known routes and comparing to the route given by the Navman F20.

Navman F20 Car GPS Receiver

annmariepark, Ebay
17 February 2010
  • Summary: It's very good, but I didn't realize I would not be able to buy a US Map for it. It's possible, but it's only available in Great Britain and extreme expensive. I wish I had researched more carefully BEFORE buying it.

Navman F20

Stephen du Toit "traveller", Amazon
12 December 2007
  • Summary: The user manual is well written and on our first trip, I sorted out how to use the navigation system. The trip from our home to the end destination in Murfreesborough, NC took about 2 and 1/2 hours (distance 142 miles). The vocal instructions were very accurate and we reached our destination without any problems. On our way back home, the GPS apparently lost all satellite signals (about at exit 289 on I40 NC) and we were informed to drive to the nearest road.

Good Basic GPS System

Sacratomato, Amazon
12 December 2007
  • Summary: I was able to buy the Navman F20 for $199, after rebates. For that price, it is a good basic GPS system. Not a lot of frills or customization options, but in the three weeks I have owned it, it has worked well. It does take a minute or so to acquire a GPS signal, but works well after that. With the touchscreen, it is actually easier and quicker to program addresses than the joystick operated nav system on our Mazda RX-8.

  • Summary: I have owned the F20 for about 9 months now. I live in a fairly rural area of South East Texas, and sometimes have trouble finding the addresses that I need, although I imagine this would be a problem with any brand of GPS considering my area (I can usually plot a route by using a combination of Microsoft Streets and Trips, and my Navman... the "Intersections" feature really helps).
