Summary: Bought mine from Amazon and it works really well. Covers UK and Ireland. Easy to use, saved all my regular destinations easily. Easy to follow. voice is clear. Both day and night displays display well.
Excerpt: Most of the time I am fully aware of where I am going in the UK but when you need to find a certain address the best thing is a Sat Nav which enables you to type in a postcode and be directed to that address. I purchased just over a year ago the Navman F10 and at the time it was a choice between a TomTom and the Navman and I settled for the cheaper option.
Summary: I bought this item for my daughter (a first time Satnav user), to use from Ipswich to Blairgowie and back. With only one mistake on her journey (took wrong turning on roundabout), she says it will make it so much easier to travel to obscure places. Good value and an excellent starter Satnav with clear directions and maps.
Summary: Replaced a similar one with this Navman and I have to say, I didn't regret it. For the price you'd be hard pushed to find a better one. Has all the facilities required for the modern day satnav. I use post code frequently and this is quick and easy. Good graphics too. Very responsive.
Summary: really love my new little SatNav. first one iv'e had and im yet to find a fault with it. finds location quickly, had loooadsss of places of interest already programmed in, keeps up to speed as far as ive seen and i love being warned of any cameras coming up and what kind they are. veryy helpful! i also like that its not in any way too bluky or big.
Summary: I have the use of Sat Nav via my phone, so I am used to using one. I bought the Navman as I was holidaying in Wales and did not want to burden anyone with navigating. I also wanted to ensure that I could clearly hear all instructions, which can be a problem with the phone GPS. The F10 does what it says on the box.
Summary: The Navman F10 is easily the best easy to use and basic SatNav I have tried. I am totally satisfied with performance and I found it excellent value for money. I have owned more expensive and more technically able units and feel the Navman has easily as much info as I have needed. My advice is if your not sure about delving into the SatNav market then the Navman is a great entry level unit with excellent easy to use menu's and is as cheap as chips!
Excerpt: Had the Navman F10 for a few months now. Generally I find it very good, although every now and then it gets confused, especially if there are staggered junctions, where it doesn't seem to be able to figure quite which way to go and then you get the "perform a U turn" message. I guess that would be the same with most systems. It has NEVER failed to get me to my destination, although sometimes it's directed me down roads which are more like paths!
