Summary: I purchased the 7200T last year at the suggestion of a friend who used to work for Navigon. He failed to tell me that the reason they were on sale was that the company was pulling out of the US and planned very little support. This item has been discontinued since mid 2009. I only use this for travel when I need to rent a car because I have a built-in GPS in my car. Therefore I have only used it a few times. The features are great, particularly the lane assist.
Summary: I recieved this GPS as a gift. It worked great for a couple of months and then crapped out. The customer service might as well not exist. Too bad, because it has alot of nice features. I would not purcase or recieve one as a gift again. I would tell them to get their money back ASAP.
Summary: The GPS itself was excellent. The audible street names, the excellent graphics, the ability to control the alarm when you would receive a speed limit warning, the traffic updates - all these were excellent features of this device. If I did not have the trouble I had with Navigon the manufacturer, I would be giving it 4 or 5 stars.
Pros: Lots of innovative features. Touchscreen works well. Mount is strong and doesn't wobble while driving. Sound is good.
Cons: Blue tooth is just about worthless. Inability to change the colors of the map and text renders the maps unreadable in most situations for me. Cannot quickly switch from north up to direction up. Does not auto power on when you start your car.
Summary: I purchased this after using a Nuvi 660 for two years. I wanted something different, fresh, and full of features. As with many others, the lifetime traffic attracted me to this unit, along with it's sleek look. It has all the features I was looking for (bluetooth, lane assist, traffic to name a few). A quick little unit, it gives great directions and has an awesome little map (software) on it. The screen is very informative as well.
