Bring the Navigon back to the United States, It is by far the Best GPS
8 January 2013
Summary: After using the Navigon 7200T I can't use the other brands. The way it tells you how to get to places is clear and presice. The Garmin, is a traffic accident in the making for me trying to understand it and drive at the same time. I feel so unsafe using any other gps' while driving. The Navigon voice command to tell it where I want to go understands English. I don't have o repeat the place ten or fifteen times like I do on the Garmin.
Summary: I bought this GPS about 2 years ago. Cons: Horrible user interface (small soft buttons). Battery life (less than 5 minutes). No updated maps. Navigon does NOT supply any free or charged updates. Maps currently installed are several years old. Suction Cup stand for car windshield does not last. Pros: None it SUCKS. I would never recommend this unit.
Discontinued product with no map updates available for the last 3 years....

Summary: This is a really nice product, however the company has sold out and has not produced any mapupdates for the last 3 years. It is not updateable. Garmin has purchased the rights to their patents but the only support they offer is to trade your Navigon unit plus cash for a Garmin unit..
Summary: I bought this Navigon 7200T new and it has been great ever since. But one day I was going to my house from a few hours away, and it chose the wrong direction (less interstate). So I wished that it had the option to choose multiple routes. I looked up some GPS forums on the internet and found that you can REPLACE the software with a software from a newer Navigon GPS. Currently, I have the Navigon 7310 software.
Summary: Hi. OK, I'll start with what is good. On the plus side this product seems to get directions right 95% of the time. That includes my aunts super rural bungalow in northern Vermont. What I don't like about this product is two things: 1) I know this is a regional gripe but... it has an almost stalker-like addition to i95. I prefer the Merritt and often switch over. This product directs me back to i95 every chance it gets. And, this applies to every state under the sun.
Summary: I love my Navigon 7200t and I wish they still made stand alone units. There are features in this that I can't find in a newer device. Nice little touches like being able to view the speed limits in areas that I am unfamiliar with has saved me many times from getting a ticket by not knowing I was in a speed trap area. My directions are right on point including my estimated time of arrival.
Summary: works ok for the most part. no instrustion so you kind of have to figure it out as you go.had it just over a year and had to reset it about 10 times, sometimes in the middle of travel. this sucks because you need a end of a paper clip to reset it and most people probably dont carry them in their car.bought it in 1st quarter of 2009 but it came with 4th quarter 2008 map. would of had to pay to update the map.
