Summary: Terrible system by comparison to other brands. This device cannot be uploaded with new software, nor can it download European maps if made in the US. I do NOT recommend this device to anyone. There are far superior brands for GPS devices. This is NOT one of them!
Summary: Ancient history. Company is out of business, bought by Garmin. Was a good value at the time. Only issue was that it was prone to overheating in the summer, even to the point that the windshield mount warped and it wouldn't seat properly after three years.
Summary: I bought this GPS about 2 years ago. Cons: Horrible user interface (small soft buttons). Battery life (less than 5 minutes). No updated maps. Navigon does NOT supply any free or charged updates. Maps currently installed are several years old. Suction Cup stand for car windshield does not last.
Summary: I bought this Navigon 7200T new and it has been great ever since. But one day I was going to my house from a few hours away, and it chose the wrong direction (less interstate). So I wished that it had the option to choose multiple routes.
Summary: I purchased the 7200T last year at the suggestion of a friend who used to work for Navigon. He failed to tell me that the reason they were on sale was that the company was pulling out of the US and planned very little support. This item has been discontinued since mid 2009.
Summary: I have really liked Navigon GPS products because they're packed with features that you usually wouldn't find on a Garmin or a TomTom at a similar price. Here are some of the features: -RealityView at highway interchanges, which actually really does help with knowing which lane to be in at the...
Summary: I bought the Navigon 7200 last year at Christmas after many many weeks of researching GPS systems. I have to say it has been worth every penny and more! The feature that sold me on this product over the others was the reality view when you come to an exit or interchange on the freeway.
Summary: Poor quality product, unreliable hardware, teeny tiny fonts, tiny soft-buttons placed too closely to other hot spots on the screen, and ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE. I purchased this GPS from Amazon at an excellent discounted price.
Interface issues and terrible, terrible customer support

Summary: I bought this item on the basis of some positive reviews and I've been terribly diappointed. At the time, the unit did have some unique features and the "eternal traffic" updates was very appealing without any subscription costs.
Summary: The GPS itself was excellent. The audible street names, the excellent graphics, the ability to control the alarm when you would receive a speed limit warning, the traffic updates - all these were excellent features of this device.
