Bring the Navigon back to the United States, It is by far the Best GPS
8 January 2013
Summary: After using the Navigon 7200T I can't use the other brands. The way it tells you how to get to places is clear and presice. The Garmin, is a traffic accident in the making for me trying to understand it and drive at the same time. I feel so unsafe using any other gps' while driving. The Navigon voice command to tell it where I want to go understands English. I don't have o repeat the place ten or fifteen times like I do on the Garmin.
Summary: This is my second Navigon GPS, the only thing I don't like is there Customer Service, since they pulled out of the US market it's impossible to get them to respond to e-mails. When this unit fails I'll be buying a Garmin.
Summary: I like best of al that traffic is built in and free lifetime. also traffic works excellent right out of box. nice mounting arm and strong suction cup. compare to my tom tom. I like tom tom user interface better. Yust pricing is not reasonable and traffic part is outrages. also did not last even one year. i bought refurbished unit. back to navigon.
Summary: I really like the voice entry its so easy you dont have to type anything you just say the address and it takes you there. Ive had a lot of GPS's and for the price this one is the best. I had one of these before but it came to a horrible end. It was crushed by my garage door. I wanted to buy a new one but I found out that Navigon (a German company) has pulled out of the US market. so thats why I got a used one on Ebay.
Summary: Small form factor is good, excellent display, fast processer, good touch screen responsiveness. Menus take a little getting used to but not difficult. Cons: recessed power on/off button, short battery life, external power cord connects at bottom of unit. I like more about this than the Garmin Nuvi I have.
Pros: Acquires satellites quickly and doesn't really get you lost. Effectively gets you from point A to B and has lifetime traffic updates included. Suction cup to attach to the window has a lever which firmly attaches it (Hands down its BEST feature!)
Cons: Manual entry is cumbersome and slow (i.e. dangerous if making changes while driving), map shift to display exits is difficult to use in the city, setting menus are near impossible to navigate and not intuitive at all!
Summary: I have had this GPS for only a short time. It was very easy to set up the basics and start using right out of the box. The menus' are self explanitory and easy to follow. The online user manual is needed for the finer points and the multitude of funtions. It was a little difficult to find on the website and it is 180 pages long. The good part is you can print only the segments you are interested in, you do not have to print the complete manual.
