Summary: Comments about Navigon Navigon 7100: What can you say about something that almost seems like it’s smarter than the map that you are holding or the directions that someone else wrote down for you? It’s an amazing invention that I have no idea how people lived without.
Pros: Compact, Easy Menus, Easy To Set Up, Reliable Performance
Summary: Comments about Navigon Navigon 7100: Two things that completely sold me on this device: Free lifetime traffic updates It is just a bit on the bulky side, which made me less worried that I would lose it somewhere in my car. I know for some that is a drawback, but for me, it is a plus.
Pros: Acquires Satellites Quickly, Easy Menus, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Large Screen, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls
Summary: Comments about Navigon Navigon 7100: I'm on the road a lot, both for work and pleasure. I've gotten used to the fact that I usually need to loop around or take an extra exit. I used to enjoy those extra lenghty rides, but now all I can think about is the rising cost of gas.
Summary: Comments about Navigon Navigon 7100: I am always getting lost when I am going on a trip. I have no idea how but I always seem to miss exits, drive 200 miles out of my way and never get anywhere on time when I am on a trip.
Pros: Compact, Easy Menus, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls
Summary: I have been using this GPS for several weeks now, and have found nothing that I dislike. The visibility of the screen is excellent, and although I have some problems hearing, I have no difficulty in hearing it's directions.
Summary: I've used Garmin and Magellan and, while all have their pros and cons, the Navigon is the most intuitive, easy to use and (most often) accurate unit I have used. The traffic updates work well and the unit is fast and reliable. No issues to report.
Summary: This is my first GPS and I've only had it for about a month. The only comparison I have is using the GPS in my mom's jaguar - didn't like it. First, the only two lows for the Navigon: battery life is short - if your trip is more than two hours, just hook up the power chord at the get-go.
Summary: Bought this GPS because the display is large and bright, and I prefer the 3D view which is easier to follow when driving. Compared to the other models on the market, the price/features were very competitive. Absolutlely love the unit.
Summary: I ordered my Navigon 7100 at the end of August and received it on September 7th. In the last few weeks, I have been all over .... New York City, Washington, Northern Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, San Francisco/Oakland, California, etc.

Summary: I have had to edit my review after several weeks of owning it and here is what I would say now (can't edit stars but I would give a 4 rather than 5 if possible) I had a bad experience a few days back trying to reach a destination with awkward routing, u-turn requests and some of what you've probably...
