Summary: I bought this to upgrade my Navigon 2100. It is basically the same as the 2100 as far as software and the text-to-speech voice. The same pronunciation problems are on the 7100. But the 7100 is bigger and the screen size makes a difference, I also like the window mount a lot better than the one that came with the 2100. The touch screen is not good at all unless you use your fingernail or the stylus (but in a world with iPhones, that is not a fair comparison.
Summary: This is a great GPS unit. Has a lot of bells and whistles that other comparable units do not. The directions are clear and the GPU is easy to navigate. I would have given it five stars except that the unit tends to freeze from time to time. I was able to get in touch with Navigon's support department, only to be informed I needed a software update. The link they directed me too seemed to be for every country but the US.
Summary: This is a great device. its big and clear. the speaker is also pretty loud. Bluetooth comes in very handy when there is a risk of ticket for using a cell phone while driving. The only complaint about it is that when it dies, you have to wait until it is FULLY charged before you can use it again.
Summary: Way better then my magellan 3210, Navigon will give you details, precise turn by turn and live traffic update. The only thing is missing is search by name i have to narrow down to to find some thing im looking, but it's all good.
