Summary: I have purchased a Navigon in March and my new navigation unit made by Navigon has already gone out. I am ok as long as it gets fixed. On the navigon box it says they will email you back from support.navigon.com within 48 hours. I sent my email out June 22nd and have resent it out 4 times already.
Summary: I don't even know where to begin with how unsatisfied I was with this product. Gave it one week prior to returning it. Impossible to enter data- very small keys and hard to touch. Inaccurate directions, very slow, terrible speaker, etc. etc, etc. Steer clear of this GPS unit.
Summary: Do not waste your time on this unit is my best advice. I purchased it from not from Amazon, but a club store (it was on sale). I was intrigued with free lifetime traffic support but it was not worth it.
Summary: I purchased a 7100 7 months ago. It has been plagued with software problems. Fortunately their tech support is readily available and helpful. I have over 50 hrs. into troubleshooting on my own and with their help. They replaced the unit twice and the SD card twice.
Summary: My experience with a GPS is the Garman Ique-M5, so that set my expectations. The Navigon has traffic info, 3d images, and street names but the benefits end there. The Navigon gave really stupid directions and I tried all of the different settings.
Summary: I was excited to get this GPS, as I attended the CES Show (Consumer Electronic Show) which it was awared "Most Innovative in GPS category. Well, I got one for myself and the one star is for the User Interface, pretty cool, and it looks pretty sleek. Here's what doesn't work: 1. Monut, forget it.
Summary: This is a sexy unit...and many of its features are great. But it has a few deal breakers and it is going back. The good news: Beautiful maps make it a pleasure to use this. 3D view gives you a great look-ahead view and adds greatly to your overall orientation.
Nice hardware and features but with a dangerous software flaw

Summary: I like almost everything about this product except the route planning. I've used the product for about a month now and have noticed several very serious issues with its route planning algorithm: 1) Optimal routes are anything but optimal.
Summary: I bought this GPS thinking that the real time technology was really neat looking, first of all, it does not appear anything like Navigons's advertisments make it appear. This GPS has major, major problems.
Summary: I agree with Twelly on most points. I've been using the Navigon 7100 along with my Nuvi 360 for a week. The Navigon fails miserably when it comes to recalculating a route. It will try to double back and put you on the original route, even adding many extra miles.
