Summary: This was the first time Ive ever bought a refurbished product... and last. The software wasnt loaded onto the device and the customer service for Navigon was nonexistent. I reset the device over 10 times and stll nothing worked. Luckily for me the people at Overstock were very understanding.
Summary: Unfortunately Navigon seems to have gone out of business in the USA. The unit I bought had maps from 2008. I assumed that an upgrade to current maps would be included, but it was not. You can purchase a one-shot upgrade or a two year upgrade contract, but they are quite pricey.
Summary: I purchased this GPS unit in June 2009 and it worked great for two months, then inexplicably quit working. I've spent three weeks trying to contact Navigon support via their website or phone number provided in my "one-year warrenty," only to find out when I contacted the Better Business Bureau that...
Summary: I purchased the Navigon 2200T in april. Used it a few times and liked it well enough. By the end of june the software no longer starts, it doe not go past the openong screen. The error messge says "Failed to get path to mobil navigator" and the software updater does not recognize the unit.
Summary: Worked fine for a week, then broke down, i tried to call customer service but they no longer have offices in the US. I wrote a letter via their online customer services and have been waiting a month trying to send the product back. DON'T BUY THIS ITEM.
Summary: The device does not pick up a GPS signas. It didn't work in Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and San Francisco. Its ridiculous. I got sent a 2nd device and it never picked up a signal. What kind of QA do they don these products.
Summary: I ordered this GPS based on all the positive reviews. It took over an hour to get the first signal. The battery died after using for 10 minutes not plugged into car. Second try at signal took about 40 minutes. I reset and did it again. No signal after half hour so I repackaged and am returning unit.
Summary: This is my second GPS. I started out with a very basic Mio Digiwalker 310x. The Mio had no bells & whistles, no frills, no text to speech, no traffic, older maps. But it got me from Point A to B. I wish I could say the same for the Navigon 2200t.
